This dinner was SO yummy, I just had to share it with all of you!
If you have been following us for awhile, you saw Pam's post for Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole which is awesome on it's own! For my family, I had to change it up a bit (hubby is allergic to poultry)
So, instead of chicken, I used boneless pork chops and cooked them as instructed in the recipe. The coating alone on the pork would be great, this just takes it up a notch! Then, I decided to add something besides ham this time and cooked up 3 pieces of bacon until they were nice and crispy. Once they cooled, I chopped them up and added them to the pork once it was all cooked. We also had some leftover rice from our takeout, so I threw it in the pan to heat it up. I also used Swiss cheese instead of Provolone and it was awesome!
If you decide to give my version a try, I would love to hear what you thought of it!
