Canvas Art Work

This project is an easy one and so much fun! In just a few steps art work is created and can be used in a variety of ways. I created this rabbit canvas art as a thank you for a sweet friend of mine who loves rabbits.  Canvas art easily doubles as wall decor and photo props as well.

Required Supplies:  Canvas, Spray Paint, Glitter, Adhesive and Gloves

 

Step 1. Spray Paint your canvas. It isn't necessary to have a background but I wanted to capture a pink and gold display. For a white base see my project here.

Step 2.  Cut out the outline of the print you would like to use.  Be patient with this part, it can be tedious.  Cover the canvas with your artwork and make sure to cover ALL areas of the canvas with tape or paper to ensure the adhesive does not cover any surface other than your outline.

Step 3.  Spray the adhesive lightly over your outline and immediately pour on the glitter.  After just a few seconds flip the canvas over to allow the extra glitter to fall.

Enjoy your artwork!  This project is one that would work for Holidays too, wouldn't a Christmas tree outline be darling with green glitter?!?
